January 2012
An amazing 90 pupils (35 Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 pupils; 55 Key Stage 2 pupils) achieved 100% attendance for the Autumn term (September to December). That is an incredible 43% of our pupils.
Well done to all who received their Bronze attendance certificate!
December 2011
On Friday 9th December John Froud and Julie visited school. Julie told a festive story to each class, and John taught each class a special Christmas song. The songs were presented in a special assembly at the end of the day. Thank you to John and Julie for spreading the Christmas message through the school.
On Wednesday 7th December we received a visit from the Bishop of Bradford. He was welcomed outside by some of our Year 5 Samba band and then moved inside to take a whole school assembly. This was followed by a visit to all of the classrooms, taking time along the way to chat to children and staff. He then shared lunch with some children, staff and governors. A very successful visit and one we will remember for a long time.
