Pupils at Shipley dressed as a character from Julia Donaldsons 'Room on the Broom' linked to some joint learning activities.
Pupils at Shipley enjoyed a day of acting, reading, writing and fun when they took on the roles of the characters in Julia Donaldsons' Room on the Broom.
Each year group focused on a different learning outcome for the day and learnt about how different characters can be interpreted through an authors choice of action, dialogue and description.
We thought the witch was a thoughtful character and her actions resulted in new friendships and a feeling of belonging.
It made us feel happy and helped us to think about our worship theme for this term.
